Ray Dwyer, owner of Ivory Tiger Tattoo, has been tattooing for 23 years.  Ray migrated from Long Island, New York in 2006 for the legalization of tattooing in South Carolina to share his tattoo experience, skill and expertise.  Ivory Tiger Tattoo opened the doors to the public on May 31, 2007.  As a native New Yorker, Ray completed his tattoo apprenticeship at Peter Tat-2 Studio in the New York shop -a "street shop" tattoo studio with over 40 years experience and six studios from Denver to Florida to NY.  His mentor was Frank Romano, who in 1991 opened his own shop- Da Vinci Tattoo Studio.  Ray has worked along side of many great tattoo artists, and now offers his talent, savvy and knowledge of tattoo art and design at his shop- Ivory Tiger Tattoo.
